It was heavily promoted during the Super Bowl 2021, featuring WWE Superstar and actor John Cena. (2021 - Present) Major Melon is a Watermelon flavored soda first released in January 2021 as a permanent flavor. It received a limited-time release in 2023. Pitch Black won by a small margin until 2019, when it was discontinued and is technically a Franchise Exclusive flavor at Sheetz. (2004, 2011, 2016 - Present) Pitch Black is a Dark Citrus Punch (Black Grape) flavored soda first released in Fall 2004 and had many limited-time releases until it was pitted against Baja Blast in DEWcision 2016 to be permanent.
In November 2023, it received a limited-time release. In 2014, it was made a permanent flavor in certain regions until 2022, when it was discontinued. (2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 - 2022, 2023) Game Fuel (Citrus Cherry) is a Citrus Cherry flavored soda first started in the Game Fuel Promotion for many years for a limited time. Wispak continued to indepently bottle this flavor however it is currently unknown if they are still producing it as of Mid-2023. White Out won 44% of the votes and remained successful until 2019, when it was nationally discontinued. (2010 - Present) White Out is a Smooth Citrus (Yuzu Lemongrass) flavored soda developed and released in 2010 for the DEWmocracy II promotion that competed for a spot with Typhoon and Distortion to be the next permanent flavor. It was released for a limited time in 2009 on two separate occasions and once more in 2010 before becoming permanent afterwards with regional availibility. (2009, 2010 - Present) Real Sugar, based on the Original Mountain Dew flavor, is manufactured with Real Sugar as opposed to High Fructose Corn Syrup. Voltage won 41% of the votes and remains successful. (2008 - Present) Voltage is a Raspberry Citrus flavored soda developed and released in 2008 for the DEWmocracy I promotion that competed for a spot with Supernova and Revolution to be the next permanent flavor. It is scheduled to join the permanent lineup in January of 2024. It was eventually released in many Summers in cans and bottles along with its Baja Family. It was an instant hit, leading to a massive cult following. (2004 - Present) Baja Blast is a Tropical Lime flavored soda initially introduced as a Franchise Exclusive flavor to Taco Bell locations in 2004 to increase drive-thru beverage sales. When it was first released, sales increased by 10% in its first year, returned in Summer 2004 and once more in Summer 2005 before being made permanent after its 2005 run, though in some regions. (2003, 2004, 2005 - Present) LiveWire is an Orange flavored soda first introduced in Summer 2003. When it was first released, sales increased by 6% in its first year and pointed to being responsible for leading to the creation of other flavors from the 2000s to the present.
